The big AI-tutoring apps optimize for screen-time, in-app coins, and ad inventory. We thought parents deserved the opposite: every minute a kid spends learning should compound into something they own. So we built a tutor that pays the kid in real Bitcoin — held by the parent, released on real milestones, denominated in an asset that has historically outpaced tuition, rent, and any savings account a parent can open.
Every lesson follows a four-stage flow refined across 990+ lessons: understand → explain → practice → solve. The AI tutor adapts vocabulary, complexity, and pacing automatically across five age bands.
All AI inference runs locally on a dedicated AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (Strix Halo) mini-PC with 96 GB unified memory and ROCm GPU acceleration. Heavy text lifting goes to Gemma 4 31B, pinned in VRAM 24/7 — multilingual, math-strong, kid-safety tuned, and licensed Apache 2.0. Voice transcription rides on Whisperand read-aloud uses Kokoro, both running side-by-side on the same box. Open-weight models, no advertiser data leaks, no third-party prompt logging, no cloud round-trip.
